Apprenticeship & Workplace Math 11 (online)This pathway is designed to provide students with the mathematical understandings and critical-thinking skills identified for entry into the majority of trades and for direct entry into the work force. Topics include algebra, geometry, measurement, number, statistics and probability. This is the final course in the Apprenticeship and Workplace Mathematics pathway. There is no textbook deposit for this course. Pre-Calculus 11 (online)This pathway is designed to provide students with the mathematical understandings and critical-thinking skills identified for entry into post-secondary programs that require the study of theoretical calculus. Topics include algebra and number, measurement, relations and functions, trigonometry, and permutations, combinations and binomial theorem. Completion of this course is a prerequisite for Pre-Calculus 12. ScienceScience & Technology 11 (online)Science and Technology 11 is an issues-oriented course designed to promote student scientific understanding and analytical skills and apply them to common problems or areas of public debate. The aim of the Family Studies course is to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to assist them in making informed decisions related to family and interpersonal relationships. Family Studies 10, 11 or 12 consists of 2 online modules - Interpersonal and Family Relationships and Families in Society. Each module is worth two credits. You must complete both modules to obtain full credit for either Family Studies 10, 11, or 12. Modules cannot be repeated for additional credit.
